B.Eng. in Informatics
My name is Iordanis Kostelidis, and I am an Informatics Engineer specializing in Software Engineering.
I hold a degree from the Department of Computer, Informatics, and Telecommunications Engineering, and I am currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Robotics at the International Hellenic University.
Since 2018, I have been working as a Software Engineer at DataScouting, where I develop web applications using Spring Boot and React.js, create data migration tools (e.g., using Python for migrating records from Fedora to DSpace), and configure DSpace installations.
During my studies, I was an active member of the IEEE Student Branch, where I served as Treasurer, Vice Chair, and later as Chair.
Additionally, I co-founded the inter-university student robotics team HERMES, where we developed a robotic exoskeleton for individuals with paraplegia, aiming to participate in the CYBATHLON competition.
I completed my military service from 2023 to 2024 as a Private in the Research and Informatics Corps, specializing as a Software Developer at the Headquarters of the 25th Armored Brigade.
In my free time, I explore Unreal Engine for game development, experiment with various programming languages, play video games, and watch movies and TV series.
